This game is gonna rock! I can't wait until this game comes out. Just looking at the screenshots of the game makes me drool. But what sucks is that the release date was pushed back a week, to 10/29/02. Well, I hope it's worth the wait. I guess I'll just have to stick with the ol' GTAII for another year. But you know what's funny? How one game has made the difference for a company in a year. Just think about it. Go to http://ps2.ign.com/articles/369/369155p1.html to check out an article. To see some awesome Vice City screenshots, or to see news about it, go http://gta.sky-scraper.net or http://www.vicecity.com. If you find out more news about GTA:VC, just post it here if you want.

I;m sure this game is so anticipated because it allows you to be a thing you can't be legally in realy life!
BTW, can you rape women in this sequel or what? I've read news articles on that soon-to-be controversial thing.

I absolutely completely hope not. I won't be buying the PC version if it does.

Sony wouldn't allow that probably. They don't allow nudity in their games either. As crazy as they are, I don't Rockstar is that crazy. That's why when you get a hooker and you start "doing it", the car rocks and squeeks, but you just see the people sitting there. I wonder, though, if there are going to be male prositutes in the game, not that I want any. It would just kinda be funny though.

I don't have a PS2 but I played GTA3 on my friends system. I was having th e time of my life. I origanly played the 1 & 2 games, they were amuzing but got bored after awhile, GTA3 ROCKED, it's so fun. Although I would never grab a bat and pummel an innocent person, I don't mind doing it virtually. Didn't they stop making GTA3 because of the violence? Or something, why would they be making VC? or is it toned down?

a week? you act all worried... :)
i doubt it was enough time to mellow out an entire game. i did also think virtual rape was quite disturbing...
maybe it was how many thought about virtual killing back in wolfenstein (sp?) 3-d times? i can see an outcry, not so much for killing nazis atleast. but it's much more realistic in gta3 and beyond... i'm not saying it will cause an epidemic of rape among gamers though.
bah nm, i'm becoming gray.

well, you can have sex with a hooker and then beat her up after and take your money back. How is that so much worse than raping?
I don't understand why nudity isn't allowed in video games. Nudity is allowed in Movies. What would be so bad about computer animated boobs.

I am worried about it being pushed back a week. More time of suffering and pain while waiting for the game. Virtual rap is desturbing, but they most likely won't have it. Rockstar nows not to go that far. In the original version of GTAIII, the police cars were blue, like the NYPD. You were supposed to be able to fly a full winged DODO (plane) but they changed it to the clipped one. If you look in the credits of the game, it lists a character named Darkel, who was supposedly some guy that asked you to do missions that involved killing civilians, and you were rewarded weapons instead of cash. Also, as the last mission, I believe you were supposed to crash a plane into a building or something like that. All of this was changed most likely because of 9/11. (Damn you, Osama, unless you have already been damned. Then damn you again).

Sony doesn't allow it in their games. They want younger people to buy there games. They don't want to put up a bad, or naught, reputation. They do have AO (Adult Only) games for PC. Don't ask me where to get them, cause I never really seen one. BTW, did you know that now it's illegal to have any computer game in Greece? It's true. You can find it somewhere on www.cnet.com, or www.ign.com.

There's going to be a soundtrack for Vice City from Sony Music, and it's going to feature all of the songs from GTA:VC, which will take up about 7 CDs! wow. 9 hrs. of music, and each CD is for each radio station.
