A useful utility [Archive]

anyone know a utility that will make ID3v1 tags out of the filenames of my mp3s?
See I have a ton of mp3s, All sorted by filename, eg.
Artist - Title.mp3
Now i'd very much like this informaation in the ID3v1 Tags, for use with Lyrics amp, but it would take me a lifetime to do myself, so anyone know a utility for it? (could build me one? ;) )

Yeah - there are lots of them. The ones I use are Dr. Tag (http://www.drtag.de/) or MPTagger (http://home.online.no/~kjaer/mptagger/).

So many people that want custom apps, so little time...although I'm pretty sure something like this already exists...

I use the EZ-Playlist plugin for WA2. Works really well for me. :)

Name2Tag (http://duemig.da*****). Fast, simple, small (175KB), and free. Sorry I got here late but I'm old and slow. :hang:
