I just wondering why there is not any complete package for PC or Linux to download or at least a full documentation '.PDF'

Its a bit hard to get all pieces together

I'm not aware of any .PDF file, but the Shoutcast website has a page with documentation on it. You can get it at http://www.shoutcast.com/support/docs/

That should help some. If you don't understand the documentation (at first, it sometimes can be a little intimidating), then that's what the forums are here for! :) We like to help. Just make the question specific and say you looked at the online doc.

It creates "that warm feeling". I am aware of the helppages TY. The documentation "site" is a bit hard to get a overview on. It was merely a suggestion for improvement of the site. Should be fairly easy to compile the different pages into one single '.pdf'. Most people seeing the shoutcast site probably has:

a) a windows machine
b) winamp already installed (thats how they found the site)

They want to test the stuff quickly... :-)

Then it would be helpful to pack a "starter"-'.zip' with:
1. Serverprog for Windows
2. Plugin for winamp
3. the documentation in form of a '.pdf'
4. Why not a full program about shoutcast with ordered mp3-files, jingles and stuff for initial testing. If that goes out to the world it would even promote shoutcast further :-)

After that first tryout and after the process is understood by the user one may pick different components.
