i like it. i suspect last man standing will be out as a mutator pretty soon, and assault was crap once everyone worked out the shortcuts through the maps :(

the ripper may be gone, but the shock rifle and goo-gun have been upgraded to what they should've been before. UT was my favourite game. now, with only the demo of UT2003, i've stopped playing it...

I love the demo. I'm going to be buying the game in about 2 hours (seriously). If you don't like it, then fine. I personally love what I have seen. I never played Assualt or LMS in the original UT anyway. The ripper was like the worst weapon. I sucked with it. The pistols were way to powerful (if you got 2, it was better than the minigun) so they replaced it with the assualt rifle. And the new instagib kickes major ass. I can't wait until I head down to Electronic Boutique in about 2 hours and buy it.

Yes, half the guns are gone, but I don't care. As long as it delivers stunning graphics and good maps I AM HAPPY.

i miss the almost 2 shot/sec sniper... that was awesome... now it sucks ass... plus you cant see with their sights...

I cant wait for Dues Ex 2, which is built on the UT 2003 engine, and will really kick a lot of ass, i think it wont be released till fall next year though. go to http://www.deusex2.com/ to read up on it and see screen shots. if its anything like the first, it will kick ass.

you are correct.

the old sniper rifle was too powerful though - if you got it, you could basically 0wn anybody, at any range...

CS still has thousands or more players still than UT and Quake3 Combined. Technology wise they can own CS by a long shot but lots or people still play CS.

Played only demo, but this game 0wnz from what I have seen.
Works excellent on my config, looks much better than UT, sound is fascinating... etc... rollz definitly.

Like i said, my computer is too damn simple to run UT2003. Ill have it ready for Deus Ex 2 and Doom III.

Like i said, i've spent 100 bucks on networking equipment, and ill just get Unreal Championship for Xbox and Xbox Live.
