?the best performance for W2.81?

hi,

i have W2.81 and work with AVS for live video , with great results, however, constantly i need to un - and re- install winamp, due to the continuous block or error of winamp,,

i have Winamp playlister, and the most common reason of blocking is by Pixelcorps APE,,, or with some files with different supported extensions,,

anyway, you know more than me about this troubles,,

so, there is some way or clues to keep winamp with a fine performance which avoid the real (live) blocking (i'm not sure if this is the right word) or errors which put the program offline while we restarted???

example: don't use another kind of files different from .jpg, .bmp, .avi ......

Only use simple prestes that use the built in effects and renders. That's the only sure way, but even then some complex stuff makes AVS crap out.

I personally haven't had any luck with the Pixelcorp AVI player.
