relays and kbps changes

allow a relay to connect to such streams as of 128kbps or 96kbps and be able to modify the SCServ config to relay it @ a diffrent kbps instead of having a DJ connect to both servers and thus making the 2nd relay a possible 56k dial up server to allow more various listeners to tune in to a cluster of servers

I don't think that will be possible as the server itself is dumb, it just passes data around and does not process the audio signal at all.

it would be nice to have one version process it instead of making a whole another win32 box with a dedicated winamp streaming the 96kbps server and connecting to the 24kbps server for 56k users

Yes this would be a great feature! I was almost about to post a topic about this in the General Forum to see if there was a way to do this, but since it's in the wish list section I assume it can't be. I set up 2 shoutcast servers at work so my friends can spin live on them. I have one set up for 128kbit users and another for 56k users. The problem is his DSL has only enough bandwidth to supply only one of the streams. I wish there was a way to have the 128kbit resample it down to the 56kbit stream so modem users could listen as well.

same dellimia only djs have enopugh to dj at like 96kbps or 128kbps and we want to provide a dial up server too =/
