Game suggestions?

I'm not a big computer gamer - I already spend way too much time playing the few games I have. Since most of the games I play are strategy (real-time and turn-based, ie. Warcraft 3 or Civilization 3), I was looking for something in the way of a good third-person action game, something similar to Devil May Cry.

Max Payne. Civ III (which I just recently got into) bumped it off the top spot for me, but it's still one hell of a game.

UT2003 is pretty good if you have the hardware to run it with all the pretty stuff turned on. GTA3 is still a great game, better than max payne in many ways.

I am. MOO2 is imo the best turn based strategy game ever, even though its 4 or 5 years old now i still play it occasionally. I was hoping MOO3 would be available here in aus before christmas, but i doubt it will be. :(

my friend's gf was complaining (i think) he played MOO2 too much. he let her play with him hotseat. now they're bothwaiting for MOO3...
