Anyone else here play the game? I just bought it yesterday and I'm stuck in the part where Dylan is stuck in the Military Silo (Or something like that) and he hucks the card thingie outside the door so that Regina can find him... Well, I got all the way to him with my key plate, and it's the wrong one. I was mad! I braved pterosaurs, ugly plants, and huge massive damn big dinosaurs to get there...
Where's the right key plate thing that'll unlock the door? Where can I find it? When I was on the way to the thing and I didn't quite know the way, I found myself in the Research Facility. Was I supposed to go there or not? This little bad-ass chick shot stuff at me and Regina locked her up in a room... Neh? So confused... So then i left the Research Facility and made my way to Dylan. Not the right key plate. Grrrrr!

i remember getting very far in resident evil code veronica.
the whole being scared thing is a joke. honestly, i don't like the gameplay style of the resident evil/dino crisis series. i'm more of an fps fan.

I have never found any game scary at all. Or film for that matter. Maybe I am numb to zombies?

Yes, I'm not really scared by movies or vid-games. I guess I've just seen/played too much of them! :D But yeah... Some books can be somewhat scary, because in books you use your imagination, and when they say 'it's everything you are afraid of' you imagine it as what you are afraid of, which makes it scary.
But video games on the other hand and movies meant to be scary just show what the animation director/director/video game producer imagines to be scary.
I find that horror movies are mostly gory representations of cruel and unusual ways of people dying. Often the storyline isn't very deep at all, and what makes it a 'movie' is that there's a lot of fake blood and weird wounds.

Really? Never played it. What's the story line? And is it on PS?

It was for PC. It was way ahead of its time, so was a major flop (not much hardware supported it). It's based on Jurassic Park. You're Anne, your plane crashes on Site B, and you have to escape (by turning on a radio transmitter to call for a rescue helicopter).

Oh... I still don't quite grasp what you mean, but okay. What were the controls for her hand?

Speaking of scary games, has anyone else played the doom III demo? You need a nice graphics card and a gig of ram to get over 10 fps but I thought the game did a good job of creating a suspensful atmosphere. Plus those guys those black skinny dudes that crawl low to the gound are just creepy.
