Sorry if this sounds like a silly question...
I was just wondering if it was possible to disable all the presets, and just use the 16 maps that were used for geiss. Any way of doing that?
Thanks.

It is a different system and the 'maps' are not the same things as in Geiss.
Or mayeb I do dnot understand what you mean?

ahhh... I was hoping I'd be able to get milkdrop to run similar screens as geiss. Mildrop runs much better for me than geiss, and I like that I can run it in a windowed mode, but I really like the geiss maps, or presets or whatever the different effects are called.

No, you cant run the geiss "effects/presets/maps" or whatever else you want to call them :) in milkdrop. Unless someone made a MD preset that looked like the giess presets.

My Preset "Oldskool Blend" Was an attempt at duplicating one of the old maps. I'm still not sure if I got the colours right.
as for the rest of them, nobody's ever tried. Alot of the geiss maps are pretty simple though - you could probably work some up reasonably easily. Check out the preset authoring guide at www.milkdrop.co.uk

Giess (plugin) looks like newbie presets compared to some stuff people have made...
