View Full Version : setPrivateInt != onDataChanged

here is what i have. I have a popup menu in one script that sets a privteint when you click on certain menu items. I have another script that needs to know when privateint values change. I tried using onDataChanged(), but it doesn't seem to work with privateInt. I know i'm changing the value of the privateInt, i checked. And i know my onDataChanged() works to because i tried it with Always on top, it works fine. For some reason it seems that ondataChanged doesn't register changes with privateInt. Can someone verify this? If not can anyone suggest another way, besides putting it all in one script?

You could assign an xml param to invisible xuiobject, then send a leftclick or any other event. I'm not sure what you're shooting for, but Willfisher's xui checkbox might be of some interest to you. It's in Boom and I used it (with permission) in Winamp3 Enhanced Browser. It might give you an idea or two.

i'll take a peek at it thanks. i decided to go ahead and put it all in one file. So it's working now, without the seperate files. I was being stupid that's what i was shooting for. :) don't worry about it. thanks Gonzotek.
