I would like to dedicate a station to artists trying to startup in the scene. I have heard that you can use any mp3s you download from mp3.com freely for non-profit, is this right? I would love to stream some trance/house music that most people would usually never find on a 24/7 basis.
Is this legal from the standpoint of royalties? Barring problems with my ISP, I don't want to worry about some agency tracking me down and taking my stuff, plus I would like to help the "unknown artist".
Anyone have any other sites they suggest? I found http://www.electronicscene.com/ from a link on mp3.com's forums and they have some good stuff, is that the type of music I can use freely on my webcast? Where else can I look?
Thanks in advance,
Anthony
