I have an instance of Shoutcast running on my Red Hat 8.0 Box. The whole point was for me to be able to stream my mp3's from home through Winamp at work. I can make a connection and listen to a single mp3 at a time, it goes through buffering and all that good stuff. The quality is even surprisingly good, but that's not the point.
If I try to point the location to a playlist (either .pls or .m3u) that I've created it won't play it, giving me the following error:
Invalid resource request(/content/upload/TheBends.m3u)
The playlist works, I use it all the time. Each song plays, I can do them individually using Winamp3. I've searched the archives for any information pertaining to this same problem, but most of them were a little different or not at all even close.
Has anyone heard of this problem, or are the limitations of Shoutcast such that I can't do what I'm looking for here. I can't run the Shoutcast from a Windows box since I don't have one at home, it's either going to be "On-demand" or nothing.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out!
