Can't stand it personally, I mean it's very pretty, and very well made, but when I'm using the PC to play music, I don't sit and drool at the screen, I like to get on with other stuff, you know, surfing for porn, downloading porn, viewing porn and so on, stick winamp in the tray and forget about it.

After all, you don't put a CD in your home hifi system and then sit looking at it while it plays, or maybe you do....

Very true, but the small bar mode is the greatest.. everything is at a click of the button. You click the button next to the song title and a mini-playlist slides down. The buttons are in very easy places. Ontop of that it is good looking.

On your home hifi system, you dont put your cd player back in a little corner where it takes extra work to reach now do you ;)

That is the sole reason I use it, the stick mode. Everythign neatly tucked at teh top of my screen, covering the useles titlebar. That's why i'm so adament about a skin having a stickmode in my reveiws of other skins inithis forum. :D

IMO, Not a very good q to ask. A better skin will arise to 'defeat' mmd3, and maybe even in 1 or 2 years mmd3 will be considered not a very complicated (in code) skin, as coders become more efficient and experienced.

I agree with jones. If a skin can successfully not eat up resources and be out of the way, I'm happy.

Exactly the reason that I've switched to foobar2000. Why Nullsoft thought they needed to compete with Sonique eye-candy I'll never know...

I'm making a soon-coming skin that is sure to whip MMD's ass :)
I havn't released a pic yet.. it's a secret project. But I'll give you a hint... I got inspired by the "Magellan DPS navigation system" hehe and it looks very realistic too :)
