See, it's 830am here, I'm sat in the office, pretty much by myself, just over the other side of the office floor there are 3 women chatting about the Jacko documentary that was on TV here last night, that the article you linked to referes to.

General concensus of opinion as of ... 832am , is that Jackson is more to be pittied than mocked, and that most of what he gets up to is a direct result of his fucked up childhood or something.

While they don't particulary like him or his style, they admire him for what he has gone through, oh and apparently he has nice nails as well, very feminine in apperance..

All of us are judging what may or may not have happened on our perception of Mr Jackson. This perception is built up of what we have read newspapers/seen on tv. I dont believe a god damned word on tv or read in papers, most of the time everything is twisted around to fit around a biased veiwpoint. As far as him sexually molesting, he didn't really fit the bill: not that he isn't creepy! I definatly get weirded out and there's a bad vibe to him, but most sex offenders have multiple victims, and he hasn't. (Maybe I should add the word 'yet' in there.) Then again, he just could be the sick fuck that many people believe him to be... Regardless, I don't think parents should let their children around him- your child's safety should be your top priority, and putting your kid with a person who paid in a lawsuit for molestation doesn't seem like the most prudent thing to do. Jackson's becoming white, (Not sure if this has already been posted after your post or not, I quoted you immediately when I saw it) is due to a skin disease that he has. He didn't choose to become white, Vitiligo, the skin condition chose his color for him. It's a condition that causes skin color to lack pigment. Which is why Michael looks white.

You missed the point. I do read the papers - but I read broadsheets, and from their articles, form my own opinions. The tabloids write every article with some degree of opinion and a spoonful of bias, and over time, the reader just picks up on that opinion. I prefer to form my own.

What? This is about people calling Mr. Jackson "weird". I refuse to judge his eccentricity until I have actually met him. Of course I am perfectly capable of forming opinions based on his actions. I do have opinions of the actions of people I haven't met - just not their characters. I won't judge someone's personality unless I've met them.

Obviously I can't speak for the American media, only my observations from the British.
