I finally figured out how to talk during my broadcasts. Yet I noticed when I switch from winamp input to my soundcard input , the bitrate drops from 128kpbs to 24 kbps. Can this be done without droping the bitrate??

Thanks in advance!

It's a bug see: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=89324

Also to use the microphone over your broadcast you shouldn't need to switch inputs if you setup your mixers correctly. See: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=86076

Hey Tom if you're still out there. I'm still having trouble. Read the threads you suggested and the music and voice thread which you contributed alot to and still can't get it right. Here's my problem:

In my recording mixer I don't have any of these options "What U Hear" / "System Mixer" / "Stereo Mixer"

The options I do have are "SPDIF-IN"/ "CD DIGITAL"/ "MIDI"/ "CD AUDIO"/ "LINE-IN"/"MICROPHONE"/ "AUXILARY"/ "TAD-IN"/ "WAVE"/

Since I can only select one, I've been selecting WAVE. My music sounds great but when I push the talk button, I can't hear my voice.

Using Sound Blaster Live

Thanks again for your help.

Never mind. I had to upgrade my soundcard drivers. Maybe this can help someone with a similar problem.
