My puter decided to give me a birthday present, for some reason it kept giving me a bsod (page fault in non paged area) before it got to the desktop. Thinking one of my sticks of ram had failed, i removed each one, tried different slots etc. without any difference. Stuffed around with bios settings for about an hour without any luck....Did a repair reinstall and figured out my user account had become corrupted. But because i only had one user account, which was an admin account i couldnt create a new one. :mad:

So the only thing i could do was a complete format and reinstall.

It's all good now, but i forgot to backup my winamp 2 & 3 skins, plus about 60 avs and milkdrop presets i'd made...Just lucky i keep all my important data off the system partition because i couldnt have accessed it without a whole bunch of stuffing around if i needed to back it up.

Oh well, at least it wasnt a hardware fault like i originally thought it was.
