I have read the FAQ, but my problem is a tad different.

WHen shoutcast is running, People can hear my music playing, but they can't hear me when I use my microphone (it is set up properly)

In the shoutcast plugin, it has the option to use winamp or sound card for output. I have it set on winamp when I am playing my mp3s, And I switch it to sound card to use mic, but it doesn't work then. WHen I go to switch it back to winamp, it freezes.

ANy help at all would be greatly appreciated

That doesn't help me.. I've allready viewed that thread.

I guess I must have stated my problem incorrectly..

I can play music to where people hear them, but if I want to use sound (with or without bg music) It doesn't work.

Naturally it won't work if you have the Winamp checked, but if you have the sound card checked, it starts to show the volume levels going up and down when noise goes through the microphone only for a very short time. During this time, it doesn't send data over the broadcast.

When I try to switch back to winamp, winamp freezes..

Let me attach a ss of my volume controls with everything selected so you can better understand my situation.

In your recording properties, do you have the "stereo mix" checked?

I use to have the same problem, and I found it was the lack of system resources. I upgraded to 1.0ghz 256mb of ram from my previous 450mhz with 128mb and it fixed the problem nicely :D That might not have been the problem, but it did fix it :D I picked up that PC for like $300CDN
