I started using web1000 to host my site a week ago, and they pretty much suck. They wont even allow you to download files linked from the site (let alone offsite linking).
I'd go with a paid host if my site made any money, but since it doesnt there isnt much point.
I'll be trying a few other hosts this week, so if i find anything reliable that allows executables etc. i'll post info here.

They use banner ads, and there's another problem.
Question: What file extensions do you allow?
Answer: We allow all file extensions to be uploaded and downloaded if you have a paid account. If you have a free account, you may not have download sites. If you have very many files extensions that are for download purposes you site will be removed. You may have a few .zip files and music files ect. to use with your site. Free accounts may not have files over 1mb.

Guess I should read up before I post... (I got that one off the Screensavers (www.thescreensavers.com)) a few months ago.
maybe...http://free.prohosting.com/ I couldn't find a FAQ page for it but it look like it could be decent...
http://www.freewebspace.net/ (this is some kind of directory thing to free web hosts)

I think I'll wait till I'm of legal age, then make my own *nix (or Windows) server so I can use MySQL and PHP, since I've had no luck with decent free services that support PHP (with or without MySQL).

dark boy, just rename them to .txt like was said earlier and then once you download them, just rename it back to .exe. Simple.
