Well now that our station is becoming real popular we want a stream that is pleasant to the ear. Getting another server is no problem for us, we plan on having 2 stream, one going at 24kbps mono and the other at 96kbps stereo. The only problem is that a few of our DJ's don't have the 120kbps upload bandwidth. Is there any way around this where we could stream the Broadband stream (96kbps) and have someone with the bandwidth covert it over to 24kbps without being on his/her computer 24/7? All help would be appreciated.

im not sure why im here, im not sure what your asking, and im not sure why were bombing iraq

BUT

im paying 5$ more than dialup for teir 1 dsl. (they told me t1 but i got a 128 upstream, instead of 128 downstream, we'll see when the bill comes)
thats the best choice, call the isp in your area to see how much it is. i got installation and 2 months free.

**OTHER THAN THAT**
im not too sure what you were asking on your post. the djs can connect to a cray supercomputer and still only upload slow because they have dialup or single isdn. they would have to have a direct connection to your computer (or the cray) in order to acheive the speeds you desire. even then, that would be one long ass cord, or slower speeds over telephone wires. a router might be faster, but you would have to talk to mr 40 million frankel about that, unless you would rather settle for the poor admin and moderaters on this site to help you.:D

long live eric croutch's croutch! (wait, that came out wrong)
