the visualizer does work with cds

When I play mp3s, the visualizer works fine but when I play cds the visualizer moves except that it doesn't follow the beat at all, which makes some visualizers not move at all. Since I use Winamp 2.81 primarily for playing cds, this is a major problem.

Why are you still using Winamp2 instead of getting Winamp3? WA3 is so much better....

and are you talking about AVS or vis in general? if it's general vis then you should go to the plugins forum. for AVS, i *thought* they fixed this problem a couple releases ago, i guess i was wrong...but they work fine for me...guess i can't help you :/

The beat detection is one of the hardest things to do in any visualizations. It won't be a long time before they can make it "perfect".
