How do people connect to your server and how do you view the ones that are?

Also, what does this mean, and how do I fix it:

[yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 24.187.39.170:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out)

Looks like you are behind a firewall (like a Cable/DSL router, maybe?). You have to forward the ports you're using (8000-8001) to your computer's internal IP.

Does anyone know how to forward it to those ports, when you got a firewall?

OK, I disabled the Windows XP firewall, but I have a Linksys BEFSR41, anyone know how to disable that? Would people type 24.187.39.170/listen.pls to tune in? Is there any way I could hear myself when I am speaking into my microphone?

Also, when I type 24.187.39.170/listen.pls, it wants me to enter a name and password, how can I get this off? Or even set user names or something...

Check with you Linksys BEFSR41 documentation or search the Linksys site or contact Linksys technical support for port forwarding instructions.

When everything is working, please enjoy link bot.

DNAS link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://yourDNASip:yourDNASport/listen.pls

Replace yourDNASip with the ip of the DNAS (SHOUTcast server) and yourDNASport with the DNAS port (default is 8000)

Also, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.
Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen.

See RFC1918 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc1918.html) for more information. Scroll down and look for the section titled:
3. Private Address Space

How to find your ip address (Part I). (http://www.whatismyip.com)
How to find your ip address (Part II). (http://www.computerjohn*******misc_tips/how_to_find_ip_address.htm)

Finally, you can get a static name, such as foo.bar.com (not as cool as that, though :)) from http://www.no-ip.com or one of the other myriad of Dynamic DNS Services (http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Address_Management/Dynamic_DNS_Services/).
Then, your links would be:
DNAS link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport
Listen link: http://foo.bar.com:yourDNASport/listen.pls
