Now I know that it was just recently made a rule to not talk about this here, but I do have a legit question. I don't frequent IRC, so I don't know who hangs out where, so I figured this would be the best place to post my, what I feel are legit, questions.
I hear things like #winamp and #avs thrown around. I understand that those are different "rooms" that people chat in. That much I get. What I don't get is this: I don't ever post in the AVS part of the forum here, so would it be a big deal if I popped in to #AVS? Basically is #AVS only talk of AVS stuff or is it kinda like the AVS people with a GD style or what? And is #winamp for everyone, or just people from GD?
I get that no matter what forum you frequent you'll be allowed to enter each room, but is there one that you "should" go to because more people from your forum go there?
I hope this is clear enough, I am kind of confusing myself. If a mod feels this needs to be locked, so be it, I really just had some questions that I felt would be best answered by multiple people, rather than an individual by PM. (or many individuals by PM).
Thanks for the help (i hope) :)
