Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search (http://forums.winamp.com/search.php) on 'stream title field'.

Look for a post by airkick titled:
"Plz type something else in the stream title"

Note: Other search criteria may yield more results.

Did you change the DNAS variables srcIP and destIP from ANY?

Is your DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo on the same machine?

What exactly are you entering for "Address" and "Port" in the DSP?

LazerNet
23rd April 2003, 21:40
; SrcIP, the interface to listen for source connections on (or to make relay
; connections on if relaying). Can and usually will be ANY or 127.0.0.1
; (Making it 127.0.0.1 will keep other machines from being able to
; broadcast using your shoutcast server )
SrcIP=127.0.0.1

; DestIP, IP to listen for clients on (and to contact yp.shoutcast.com)
; can and usually will be be ANY. If your machine has multiple IP addresses,
; set this to the one you want it to be accessed by.
DestIP=213.119.158.180

yes winamp and server ar on the same machine

adress 127.0.0.1
port 12001

i try to listen on 12002

What is your Input Device (DSP -> Input tab) set at?

Does your Winamp spectrum analyzer have activity when you play a song?

Does your DSP have VU activity on the Main tab when you play a song?

LazerNet
24th April 2003, 19:26
dsp nullsoft wma output plugin v090(x86)[out_wm.dll]

in winamp i can play the song , thats no problem i here the song and the spectrum analizer works

no the dsp has no activaty when i play the song,

i think normaly there must come a pop up? ist it? when i click on play. but i dont see that pop also...

FesterHead
24th April 2003, 19:50
Not your Winamp -> Plugins -> Output, but your Winamp -> Plugins -> DSP/Effects -> Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP v1.82b -> Input tab -> Input Configuration -> Input Device

LazerNet
24th April 2003, 22:05

Does your internet conection go on and off? Thats what happens to me all the time! My wireless internet (not recomended btw) will sudddenly drop out and then will recover, winamp's shoutcast will do a nice little thing and put that little error in!

http://forums.talksoftnetwork.com
forum question can go into more detail there

LazerNet
26th April 2003, 08:42
no i dont have any drop outs the problem is , that my winamp will not send any data ( music) to the soutthcast server, when i click in the dsp to use my soundcard is see hem send datta to the douthcast server, so there is a problem with the winamp i think...
