That's a log of normal listener connecting/disconnecting and yp touching log.

"yp added me" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been added to the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) directory.

"yp touched" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been updated in the SHOUTcast yp directory.

You can turn off yp touches in your DNASs sc_serv.ini/conf file.
; TchLog decides whether or not the DNAS logfile should track yp
; directory touches. Adds and removes still appear regardless of
; this setting.
; Default is yes
; TchLog=yes
Set TchLog to "no" (without the quotes) and remove the comment designator ( ; ) from the beginning of the line.

Is there anyway to protect yerself from ppl getting in though the shoutcast server? Or is this what should be considered a new topic?

PLease elaborate on "getting in through the shoutcast server".

As far as I know there are no known security issues with the latest DNAS.

Fester

I wasn't sure if someone could hack their way though onto yer puter through yer cast. Someone said ppl have claimed to and I didn't know if this was a real security issue or not.

BTW, listening to yer station now....good job on both the station and page.

no there are no security issues with shoutcast as far as I know. Most of this is just paranoid individuals looking for any cause for concern.
