just thought I'd pass this along especially if your a more serious broadcaster. We got on there in less then a week after submitting. You should have a .ram file that links to your SC servers as well and it probably wouldnt hurt to have some form of real logo on ur main page.

Is that using the ram file with the pnm://?
can I make it .ra or does it have to be .ram? I haven't made a real file in years.

Let me make sure I have it right, so I do this--->

pnm://www.server.com/playlist.pls OR
pnm://www.server.com:8000 ?

[I tried doing this with Windows, but the guy got back to me saying I had to use the WMA codec, and I know there are stations on WM just linking to their SC .pls files or server and port].

Thanks for the link Jose.

Just put server.rm on the very first line and save the file as .ram. Here is what mine looks like with my main + relay.

----------------------------------------------------------
http://66.227.96.189:5032.rm
http://216.237.145.20:8020.rm
------------------------------------------------------

I also applied at WM. I'm thinking they never accepted me because we don't use wma servers. not fair if non wma stations are getting listed.

That's it!

Just use any text editor, and put in the server.com:9000.rm and name is whatever.ram and it's done.

--------------------
Thisis what u put in the .ram file
--------------------
http://path-to-server:8000.rm

The path to the server is your own server and port.

you need to enter this into a text editor:

-----------------------------------
http://66.25.242.139:8000.rm
-----------------------------------

save the file as ie. 56kbps.ram
Then upload that file to a directory on the web and link to that file. It should open a real player stream. get it?

DJHotIce

anywhere on a 24/7 site..

Note: Realone is sorta picky about your station listing, not recomended for non 24/7 stations.
