I was just wondering...May is national (US) NF month, and I was wondering if anybody here has it.
What is NF?
NF (Neurofibromatosis) is a neurological disorder, present at birth. It has a wide variety of effects, but its signature effects are neurofibromas (non-cancerous tumors), lisch nodes, and cafe-au-lait spots. NF 1 (the milder kind) affects aboud 1 in 4000 people. NF 2 affects about 1 in 10,000 people.
