Cluster

Can any one tell me what CLUSTER meens on shoutcast? As i some times see it by a radio stashion...Also what dos it do if any thing?

Cluster means just that, "Cluster": more than 1. Stations that are "CLUSTER" are stations with more than 1 server. The other servers in the cluster, are relaying the main stream of the station.

So for example, if you have a SC station and u broadcast at 24k, and you get another server on 24k to add more listeners, you can have that 2nd server set up to relay your MAIN 24k stream. Once that happens, you will show up as a "CLUSTER"
