What kind of insane setup do you have that you get 50, 100, 200, 500 listeners? I suppose this is so much bandwidth that it cant be run for free like a 5 listener broadcast.

What kind of connection supports all those listeners? I see digitally imported with like 4000 listeners...how is that capable?

To get more listeners, you need more bandwidth.
Either get your friends to relay your station and/or use Third party DNAS hosting (http://www.radiotoolbox.com/hosts/)

How can your frinds relay your station? I'm trying to reach more listeners also.

Have them install a DNAS and configure the relay section for your DNAS ip and portBase.

Default DNASs sc_serv.ini/conf file section:; RelayPort and RelayServer specify that you want to be a relay server.
; Relay servers act as clients to another server, and rebroadcast.
; Set RelayPort to 0, RelayServer to empty, or just leave these commented
; out to disable relay mode.
; RelayPort=8000
; RelayServer=192.168.1.58

RelayPort = your DNAS portBASe
RelayServer = your DNAS ip

Of course, make sure to remove the comment designator ( ; ) from the beginning of those two config lines.

Wait... so can it work like this:
Computer 1 is DNAS host and plays the music broadcasts, then you just have to get the DNAS on computer 2 and edit the relayport and relay server to computer 1's IP ? You just save the config and thats it? nothing else needed?

no nothing else needed, of course you might want to have them change the password, and also make sure their line can handle the amount of listener they/you want to relay.

Computer 1 is DNAS host and plays the music broadcasts :up:

then you just have to get the DNAS on computer 2 and edit the relayport and relay server to computer 1's IP ? :down: (almost!)

Then you just have to get the DNAS on computer 2 and edit the RelayPort to computer 1's portBase and RelayServer to computer 1's ip :up: (Don't forget about the portBase)

Also, don't forget to then turn on machine #2's DNAS ;)
