I am sure that my answer is in here somewhere, but after 2 days of searching . . . I give up . . . I am sorry if this is a crosspost, I am a newbie here, but not a newbie to forum posting. Anyways . . . I get an HTTP: return 0 when I ask people to try to connect to me. I have made my self a public server and now I get this info and I am wondering if this is right . . .

<05/04/03@12:45:34> [source] source dropped connection. disconnecting.
<05/04/03@12:45:35> [main] connecting to yp.shoutcast.com to remove myself [no source]
<05/04/03@12:45:38> [yp_rem] yp.shoutcast.com removed me!

<05/04/03@12:45:51> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully

Is this right ? When my friend tries to connect . . . she geta an error and right now none of my friends who use winamp are on . . . my friend is trying to connect with real player . . . but last night all of my winamp friends were unable to connect . . . since then I have made my server public . . . When I send them the URL . . . should they put in http://xx.xxx.x.x:8000 or can I just tell them to put in xx.xxx.x.x:8000 ? I am broadcasting right now . . . so if you want to try it . . . email me at frankie_snotra@yahoo.com and I will give you the real IP.

Thanks in advance

Lester

nevermind . . . it was probably because my friend was using Realplayer . . . I am dumb and you can delete this thread if you like. All is good in my transmission world.
