I would like to see an option to adjust that 90 second buffer in the SHOUTcast server, I am running on a LAN and would prefer a very low buffer. It is also harder to do live things (for what I use it for) with that large of a buffer.

Try the 1.7.0 version of the DNAS.

Ok, but it would be nice to have that with all current fixes and such. :D

If it's only for your lan, then no worries.

The buffer allows QoS (quality of service) to the listener.
If you want real time, then SHOUTcast is not the solution.

also raising the bitrate of the broadcast will change the delay, the delay is based on a 1 meg buffer, not time.

Use 1.7.1 over 1.7.0. I think 1.7.0 had the sleep issue.
