I've noticed a significant amount of the posters here run radio stations for a good part of the day, even some all day long. I'm interested in how much this adds up to be at the end of the month for ya'll? I would imagine it gets exp. right?

I think it would be helpful to civperc if you also mention WHAT your getting for your price.

What am I getting for nothing? The joy of being a DJ. that's all that matters to me. That's why i started it, and that's why I'm still doing even with no listeners a day

Hmm, let me rephase: It may be more useful to civperc if you answer the question, "What do you get (number of listeners, etc) for the price you pay?"

Well, ON Shoutcast

For 125 listeners @128k and 80 @24k, I pay $100.00 a month The rest are donations. Oh, it's expensive alright! Add in BMI and ASCAP fees yearly, plus other little monthly services, like Mix CD's from world famous DJ's that i contract with, and other stuff it's about less than 500.00 a month to keep this good station running. Stll looking for more SPONSORS.... :-)

if anyone out there would like to donate some 128k BW to UHR, contact me. Guaranteed return rate on customers.

Thanks, Just got in from work to see your post (to pay for it all) :-)
