Mr Blair the supposed PM of britian has been covering up a juicy story.

He is going to be adding chemicals (flouride) to the water system. of course many will say whats wrong with floride, well..... it is a mind control drug and it increases the risk of cancer.

of course these plans were uncovered recently and it seems that they will go through reguardless. I believe this to be initialized by the Shadow Govt as its plans for mind control and taking more and more presidence, obviously i will now refrain from drinking water.

Place your bets now ladies and germs......

/oh by the way , there is no Shadow Govt , as the advert says "get out more" :)

Windude, I love the fact that your 'From' field says 'secret'. It makes me think you're 9. Reminds me of school, see, when there was always this one kid who would try to answer every question with "Not tellin', it's a secret". If you're out there, Finchie, you were a right wanker.

This plan was not so secret but you should really concern yourself more with what the government does do in secret, not what it casually passes as a bill. Britain has gone to hell. Drink bottled water and live with it. Flouride has been in our drinking water for years and it only causes cancer in large enough doses. The government does a lot more to cover up it's evils and misdeeds than one thinks. Believe that they are out to ruin your life, because its true. they want to oppress us, and one thing, as Im sure you know, in england we suffer the same "free" speech policies as america in one form or another. Destroy political correctness. destroy half the government's stupid policies.

Is there also a monster under your bed?

Political correctness came about because it uses correct terminology so that people can understand spoken words and sentences. At first it might seem werid to use the english language correctly, but I assure you EVERYONE who speaks english will be able to understand you. Whereas most people who don't live near you or associate with you on a regular basis won't know what your talking about if you use 'accepted' english, because it may not have been accepeted by them.

"The government does a lot more to cover up it's evils and misdeeds than one thinks"
I'm sure you do to.

"destroy half the government's stupid policies."
Why not destroy all the stupid ones and leave the ones that arn't stupid? Oh wait, no ones going to agree on what is and what isn't stupid.

Jones: I, I mean they, can! :p

Ok, just a brief reply to the whole political correctness thing, Its STUPID! A school teacher had to resign for reading something politically incorrect, because reading the source material as is might offend some minority. This meant that either she changed the original text thereby insulting not only the author but historical accuracy, but in this particular case, insulted the heritage of the people it was biased against. It said something slightly racially offensive against blacks, and ok Im not black so cant see all the racism thing so well, but have experienced racism over here, only before i realised how to deal with it. I think it is important to remember everyone's history accurately. As bad as it is to use such terminology in today's environment, in a historical piece, it is important to remind everyone of their histories, the white man of his ancestors conquering other countries and enslaving other races and that we now understand that it was wrong. Quoting this text, the teacher should have merely explained that it is now not allowed for people to use the words or something along those lines.

Next point, other things deemed offensive due to political correctness, we can't tell people they are too fat in case their feelings get hurt. Kids are no longer simply fully of energy, they have some hyper-activity disorder, because adults dont have that much energy unless they are phyically fit.

What other examples can I give? let me see.

Men and women are equal. We can do exactly the same jobs, just as well as one another. That's a joke, but i dont care, Baywatch is on Austrian TV.

Actress is no longer a valid word, and we no longer have policemen and women, we have police officers.

I could go on but Baywatch is starting and I want to look at breasts bouncing as women run along the beach.

One thing I forgot to add, I cannot condone racism in any form, as it is rude, offensive to everyone and racism originates from fear. I have friends from all over the world and the only thing I can say about their entire races is that they have national dishes sometimes, often more local ones, and other national languages and a national heritage they share with their brethren. The examples I used were used as they were the easiest examples. Other great one of political correctness, or total madness, The westminster arts faculty decided that a statue of Nelson Mandela would not be asthaetically right for trafalgar square. A statue of one of the world's greatest men is denied by some poncy arty-farty types who know nothing of reality and the meaning of greatness. Im sure everyone would agree it is an insult not to put up a statue of Nelson Mandela, because some people who "KNOW" what should go where say so. Thanks for listening to my rant. On that note, for those of you who dont realise why nelson mandela is great, he became a great leader after 26 years (possibly more, Im not sure) of wrongful imprisonment without bearing malice to his captors. That takes true greatness.

Politcal correctness sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have a lot of flouride in our water in adelaide.

it is not a problem and actually strengthens your teeth - however way too much can make you get yellow spots on your teeth. i can just imagine Blair plotting "i will give all beneath me yellow spots on their teeth! MUHAHAHA"

RoboBlaster

So nemesis, you don't condone racism, but you love the sexism? Seems like a sort of double standard to me...

nemesis1981
12th May 2003, 22:51
I am a sexist and I admit it, but here in munich I see job adverts for women only. Fair enough if it is a women's clothes shop or teaching teenage girls, then this i fully understand, but a job which men can do, and are not given the opportunity to do, because we are discrimitated against, I think I am not the one who is sexist. Society is sexist. Note how although it is illegal to be sexist in England, people are. The media are sexist. Adverts belittle men, make women believe they are better. I am not saying they are worse, but we are wired differently. We are not equal in everything. So am I sexist? What would you rather for instance, a strong male fireman go rescue your granmother or a 60kg woman who has a lot less chance of being able to carry an old woman out of a burning building? I say the man is better for the job. In the same way, I prefer a female nurse in a hospital, and this has nothing to do with how attractive the woman is. This has to do with that women are better at looking after people, more compassionate, more natural in the motherly role. Women are superior in many things, but so are men. All I have been trying to say is that we are not equal in everything and we wont ever be, well at least I hope we aren't ever. Where is the interest in pursuing someone who you completely understand?

Merlin
12th May 2003, 22:55
There's an insurance company that advertises on daytime TV called Diamond. They only insure women. That's blatant discrimination, yet they get away with it.

nemesis1981
13th May 2003, 00:05
Very true. It is sexist and I'm sure a transexual could sue them for discrimination. Just an idea for all you transexuals out there. Sue this annoying company. Sue them because you can. The rest of us men would have a problem suing them, but who cares. Men know that we are the better drivers and we have fun driving. Lots of women don't even have a clue what sort of car they drive, only the colour of it. Well if they dont know what it can do, they don't try to test it's limits. Freedom to all people, even those who disagree with this statement.

I mean, what's to stop "them" from using the flouride provided for free within the public water system to program me against the very government providing it?

Keep trying WD, I'd almost buy the cancer story..almost

I have not seen one british guy with bad teeth in the movies that I can remember, unless they were meant to have bad teeth for the role, in which case it was tooth make-up. Name one actor or actress from Britain who has bad teeth and is a movie star. Also I bet you think Sean Connery talks funny in all his movies. One of your fellow hillbilly americans said that, and it didnt even occur to him that this fantastic actor was Scottish. Just so you know mr american, Scotland is not in england, but north of it, and is in the UK. I will let you look up UK yourself.

I don't have the interview on hand, but he's said himself that he doesn't have good looking teeth. Also some magazine voted him an unlikely sex icon because even with his teeth and his habit of snorting as he talks, he has the confidence and self assurance to pull it off.

I never implied all british actors have bad teeth nor that Americans don't. You asked for an example and I provided one, in particular one which himself admits to your criteria.

Your statement "I know there are many more american actors with worse teeth" really clashes with your intended message, as you are exhibiting nearly the same stereotypical lumping attitude that caused you to react in the first place. I could now react by saying "Name them", but I don't really care. There are british actors and regular people with bad teeth. There are british actors and regular people with perfect teeth(Liz Hurley for instance). Same goes for Americans(Melissa Joan Hart had terrible teeth as a teen, but it's amazing what a hollywood salary can do).

1) Anything in huge doses can cause cancer, this will not.
2) Flouride has been added to the water supplies of Canada and America (and Britain?) for the benefit of your teeth.

Surely thats up to you to look after your teeth. I'm all for brushing my teeth, but I don't want to ingest toothpaste. Same with flouride. The stuff cleans grime of your teeth for goodness sakes, and you want to ingest it????
