Server says everything is working, but I can't connect

The subject describes it all. I have everything set up properly. When I try to connect to my.ip:5000/;file.nsv nothing happens. When I enter it in Winamp, it says connection refused. I have is listed as public, but the server dosen't say that its connected to shoutcast.com Any suggestions?

I am using a linksys router, and I have DMZ host turned on for my computer, and I have ports 80, 5000, and 5001 open, but I am still having the same problem. What's going on?

have you forwarded the requests from your router on port 8000 to the machine which runs the dnas server???

if not you need to do that and your off to go :)
