To entertain tourists, Kantima Pinchai does almost everything. During a performance on the Sriracha Tiger Farm in Chonburi (East of Bangkok, Thailand) she's putting herself into a dangerous situation. But even the full body risk isn't very useful nowadays: Thailand's tourism industry is in a very bad crisis right now. Because of SARS, the number of visitors in April and the first two weeks of May was just half as much as it used to be all the years before.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why the tourism industry is important. It's just the picture isn't working. or such things wouldn't work for me.

Well, I agree with you Knight (or should I rather call you Euphoria?)...it wouldn't make ME go either, because when I sat in the audience I'd always think that this pretty girl was risking her life (and she doesn't look very happy while doing it either) just because I paid for it *swallows* not a very pleasant feeling :(
I sure hope that the SARS epidemic will be over soon, not only for the tourist business of course, but for all the people!
