Is this written in Direct3d?

I am trying to find out if this program is written in Direct3d as it seems necessary to do the type of 3d I want. Does anyone know how to contact Ryan directly?

It is written in Direct3d DIrectX 8 controls.

THe type of 3d you want there is not much different in power of the methods of OpenGL and DIrectX both can do the same things (more or less) I beleive.
