A few months ago I stumbled apon the solo work by the Cardigans lead singer, Nina Persson.
Her song "Bluest Eyes In Texas" was used as the music which leads into and plays during the credits at the end "Boys Don't Cry", the movie staring Hilary Swank (who won a buncha awards for her role). What first about the song was was the vioce. I really liked the girls vioce, plus the song was real nice, so I went online and found out who did the song and a few days later, after I had downloaded a bunch of her music, realized after reading something online that she was the lead singer of the Cardigans.
Anyway, I really like her stuff. I find it very relaxing to listen to.

Melee (http://www.meleerocks.com)
HelloGoodbye (http://www.hellogoodbye.net)
Ozma (http://www.ozmaonline.com)
Melee, HelloGoodbye, and Ozma can all be classified as synth nerd rock.
DieRadioDie (http://www.dieradiodie.com)
DieRadioDie is hard to explain. Expansive rock with echoing guitars and soaring vocals. Pretty awesome.
