Are there any plans to make an API for the media library database? I'd like to make a plugin that monitors the contents of a directory and automatically adds new files to the media library. There are similar plugins that do this and add new files to a playlist, but I want to be able to add them to the media library. Or is there already some way to do this that I am overlooking?

This (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=131026) SDK already includes some (most?) of the 2.9x ML API stuff.

Yeah, I know about the 2.9 SDK. However, I looked it over pretty closely and there doesn't seem to be any way to do what I described. Will it be possible in a future version?
