I love listening to it :)
But then again, it's probably not your kind of music ;)

That'd be hard to say because I listen to
different stations, depending on what mood I'm in,
or what I'm doing.
My bookmark list is pretty big.

But one I've found recently for my funky moods is LEMIXX's (http://www.lemixx.com/)
funkgroove stream.

I've listend a lot , usualy late night, to Star Trek Theatre :D

yes, it's what you imagine it to be, broadcasts of old ST episodes,

bit of a pain to get on, he only has 2 slots available, but it's the original and still the best in my opinion..

LMFAO! That Star Trek one is cool. kinda odd... but still cool. The universe MOVES when the flying poeple use their ship to move; but that is impossibe; but the system works.

I need to go on some bindg of shoutcast server listening, to find even better ones.
If Winamp 3 didnt keep on resting when I open it, I could have a better playlist, and if the playlist I saved would open up again.,.. ahh the joy of beta!

Erm, you must mistake it for another one (Groove Salad, Beat Blender ?) for Drone Zone is pure ambient bliss and my absolute fave.
I also like Digitally Imported :)

I know its ambient bliss... but I still concider it trance... for the trances it put me in, last summer, I hat to get up early, and was still wanting to sleep, turned it on and tranced out to hell.

Does anyone know what I am talking about (PRISCILLA RADIO), it was a 192kbs stream, and played DJ sets and some kick ass techno. It was with Digiitally Imported and some broadband ISP sponsored. I loved it, then one day, it was gone.
What give, I have a 256kbs cable connection, and I can never get digitaly imported to stream that well, but the rest are just great.

edit: anyone know of some good Indian (ie sitar, tabla, Ravi Shankar style, not native american) stream?

Pure Obscure Radio (http://radio.pureobscure.com/default.asp)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Plenty of obscure New Wave, Synth Pop, Krautrock (which is always nice).

It works..... only 2 x PJ Harvey tracks.

As I thought, a very large 70's flavour (with some early New Wave). Did I see a Portishead track or was it a fly on the screen? No, it was Portishead.

I'd say you play at least 50% prog-rock.

You've added Down by the Water.:)

Just scrolled down and saw some utter class -

Rush - Freewill/Test For Echo/Twilight Zone...
Sade
Selecter - On My Radio

But then I came to Simply Red. :( They're a running joke in the UK. Somewhat of a national disgrace.

But wait - Siouxsie & the Banshees.

STEREOLAB!!!! The The/Uncertain Smile!!!!! The Jesus & Mary Chain!!! CURVE!!!!!!

You have my 3 favourite bands there. Jeez.

Just got hooked on spaceplayradio (http://www.spaceplayradio.freehosting.net/). :)

And I don't usually listen to radio of any kind. For most stations/streams it's usually been either that I don't like most of the music, or I've already got most of the music (and listen to it often). But spaceplay's playlist is full of things I either like (but haven't heard in years), or things I've never heard (but like them when I hear them).

"Pure Obscure Radio" that Cylob linked above looks interesting, too. I'll have to check it out...
