Is it possible for a copy of winamp, tuned into a shoutcast server that's broadcasting audio and video, to relay that signal to another server like it is for audio?

for example, if I tune winamp into a shoutcast station, and then use the shoutcast dsp plugin to broadcast to another shoutcast server.. I've effectively created an indirect relay server... the audio on the second server is teh same as the first.

Is this possible with this new nsv stuff? I have gotten nsv set up so far broadcasting live webcam input thru a shoutcast server (with no audio) but I can't find anything on redirecting like I want to do...

furthermore is there a specific doc or thread somewhere on live audio? what I'm ultimately hoping to do is broadcast webcam input along with stereo input from LINE IN on the sound card at the same time.

I am a little confused? You want one server for an audio/video feed and another for just video?

You would have to use the SHOUTcast DSP and NSVtools separately and have them send to different servers, but I guess it would work.

For streaming Audio too select your soundcard from "Capture Devices" in NSVcap. (If using NSVenc use the number in cap:0,0 that corresponds to your sound card).

From Windows Recording mixer select Line In as source.

No, simpler than that I think. someone will be broadcasting audio (line input) and video to a private shoutcast server using NSVCAP

there will be a regular copy of winamp tuned into that audio/video stream which is the source of my public station... from which I'm wondering if I can just output the audio/video out to another (public) shoutcast server.

I do the exact same thing but audio only using the Shoutcast DSP plugin when I have guest DJs spin for my internet radio station.. they broadcast to a private server, and my radio's source copy of winamp just tunes into that server for the duration of their set, then just goes back to mp3 when they are finished.
now I'm just trying to figure out how hard it would be to add video to the process... I don't have direct control over my public DNAS, so I HAVE to source it from a copy of winamp on my fileserver. I have successfully broadcast audio/video to my private server and had people tune into it.. now I'm just trying to figure out how to redirect the audio/video out to my public server

also I've done the audio but it appears to only be in mono.. still working on that. when I'm in NSVcap in Options -> Audio Capture Filter -> AudioInputMixerProperties the left side is all greyed out I can't change them.. on the right side "Pin Line Input Mix" I have selected Pin Line: LINE IN and checked ENABLE that's all I did to get audio input.. but the left side is all greyed out still.. is that normal?

oh and thanks a bunch for your help btw :)

Can't currently capture the video output of Winamp and stream that. I assume that will come eventually.

For now you MIGHT have lock with Camista http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=139711

Not too sure about that audio thin in NSVcap, I'll have to look into that.
