I don't know. Just be careful not to drop them otherwise it could ruin the taste.

lol @ Phily Baby.

Try going to the local music store where they sell drums,
and ask the drum guy if he knows.
Or maybe he can tell you who to get in touch with.

1. Off the snare, usually more showy:

Put stick in left hand across the drum like in the picture (1) it should be parallel with your body. The stick should hang off the side a bit.
In picture 2 take the stick in your right hand and hit upwards on the part of the stick that is hanging off.
It takes a few tries but soon you'll be able to aim it correctly so that it twirls up, falls down directly over where it started, and you can catch it, hopefully with your hand around the fat part so you can keep playing.

2. With one hand, I usually only do this when I'm bored, not actually playing.

Put stick in between index and middle finger. Move index finger up so the stick tilts down.and quickly move your ring finger over it so you can repeat it with your middle and index. Think of Boris with his pen from theat one James Bond movie.

If you can't figure it out, just let me know.

It's best if you don't use your thumb at all. I've even made a video to show how I spin my pen:
here (http://www.philybaby.co.uk/videos/penspinning.avi)

I find this practice really annoying. Esp when the moron hair band drummers do it. Like saying "Look, this song has so much depth, I can spinn my stick inbetween ridiculously basic solos and beats!

I can spin my pen around my thumb, and then carry on writing. I do that a lot in my exams.

I was tried spinning drum sticks in a dark room just with monitor screen light. I look as if your spinning multiple drum sticks. It must be the refresh rate of the monitor or something. But it looks pretty niffty. Seems to work betta with dark light such as NSDN style.:)

That's cool! How do you like it so far? I'm having fun learning how to play even though I'm progressing reeeaally slowly...

The people at the Nice Drums Forum (http://www.nicedrums.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi) are really helpful too, if you have anymore questions. :)
