View Full Version : The crappiest songs of all time!

I have two I'll add right now :)
Sean Paul - Get Busy (http://www.anysonglyrics.com/lyrics/s/seanpaul/getbusy.htm)
Number 1.
This song is probably the height of mainstream musics crappiness. I mean I almost pissed my pants laughing so hard the first time I heard it. A blind monkey with brain damage could write a song better than this.
On a scale of -100 to 0 I give it a -1000 :)
Number 2.
Chingy - Right Thurr (http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/chingy/rightthurr.html)
This song sucks just equally as bad as the first. So no need to waste energy typing a bad review.
On the crapometer it gets a -1000
----
Post your crappiest songs of all time :)

Nothing sucks more then crappy music being shoved down your throats day afetr day by the theatres you goto to watch your movies. no generic crappy rock band deserves all that attention just cause a girl is singing.

Yep, I know the feeling... Haven't these assholes sung about hot women or 'bitches' enough? Or money? Or about being black? Or sweaty sex? I'm so sick of hearing it, singing about how they're so rich and hiring whores in their Bentleys. Come up with some new subject matter please. And for fuck's sake, pick a language and sing in it. Jeez... What the fuck is that? Not English, that's for sure.
Idiot's right, baboons with brain hemorrhages could write better songs.

I know this is gonna sound stupid,
but to me the crappiest song of all time is
The Birthday Song.
You know...the one they sing at your birthday?
For some reason I've always hated that song.

Cylob
14th July 2003, 09:14
ShyShy, I could've sworn you had a Ricky Martin track on the go. I agree though, it's latino for idiots. I also detest:
All artists who write only love songs.
All artists who don't write their own music or lyrics.
All artists who write only formula music (ie; nu metal).
That's about 80% of all music. Thankfully, there are 1,000s of original artists in the other 20%.

Anyone who has been here for at least a year knows which particular songs I have grown to intensely loathe over the years, over all the other drivel.
I must agree with papadoc about the Birthday song- it has a sort of demonic monotony to it.

Lucinda Williams - "Righteously"
This woman sounds like a fucking hick trying to sing rock music. I've never heard anything quite so horrible in my life! If her twang is intentional, she should be shot for thinking it sounds good. If it's natural, she should give up singing all together. Either way, it's crap, and whoever thought she had talent is a moron.

It pisses me off when an act's first single released is a cover song. (Alien Ant Farm, Kelly Osbourne, etc.) Those bands shouldn't even get signed IMO. First you should have to make quality original music before you're allowed to cover other people's original music and release it.

That pisses me off no end (the lazy sods)!! Also, I hate it when a cover sounds rather like the original - I mean why not just re-release the original and save a bit of money while you're at it.
I do like covers that are played in a completely different style. You could say (accurately) it's a brand new song. Example - Tainted Love.

Any version of Unchained Melody, by anyone.
Anything by Kelly Osbourne. Glass breaks and dogs howl when she starts to whine.
Everything so far released by Popstars/Idol contestants, all Spice Girls records and anything they've released on their own, that ridiculous Ketchup song, that ridiculous Fast Food song, the Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men", and the following football chants;
Boing Boing Baggies (sod off!)
Ooh! Aah! Cantona!
He's here, he's there, he's every-fucking-where, Brian McClair, Brian McClair!
Super, Super Leeds, Super, Super Leeds, Super, Super Leeds, Super Leeds United! (wow, that took some thinking didn't it. And Leeds are not super. They're not even alright.)
oh yeah, and Mousse T. vs. Hot n' Juicy - Horny. It's a terrible record, it really is.

you must admit many aspects are similar: cheesy love songs, heart throbs, teeming masses of crazy, fainting, psychotic female fans, etc.
The beatles were more talented as they could play their own instruments and wrote their own songs. Plus they started to expand song subjects in their later work and sang about drugs and other stuff but the overall majority of their early work was love songs. :p

Heh, hold music.
Cable & Wireless' tech support line used to play Sunchyme by Dario G, which was an alright record - trouble is, it was a four minute track and C&W had approximately one man doing tech support, so you'd typically be listening to it for five hours until he got round to you...
Now it's NTL, and they play something by Vivaldi, constantly interrupted by "your call is important" - No shit, I wouldn't call if it wasn't important, you morons. And they have more tech support staff. At least three. ;)

what are you taling about! "in da club" is one of the most creatiev rap songs i've ever heard! How many other rap songs haev their titles spelt with words like "da" and not "the." That is unprecidented! Also, he talkes about his 'dubs' and his benz in the first verse, so unique! Dubs and benz, in a rap song! who woulda thought! Then he goes so far to talk about weed AND his hoes AND his 'bling bling'! Just wow! So many unique things that is never heard in any other rap song, it's just mind blowing!
