Didn't we do a poll on this, even though it was a while ago?

Classic, nice colors..
Also like the Ninja theme, only for the black color...
although not all words can view with it... :(

Default - 1024.
Blatant hint to Sawg follows:
Although if the other themes had the 1024 option, I'd probably switch. ;)

I'm using classic I think, that's what i voted for. I like anything that is a nice soft light style.

Default 1024. Still waiting for default 1600.

I don't like the big ads of the default/default 1024
The red in the ninja theme looks like crap on this monitor
NSDN is too dark for my taste
Classic fits like a glove.

I've tried them all but I'm sticking with default.

I'm using Default 1024. But I've been told my avatar looks cool in Revenge of the Ninja. I might have to try that.

@ WomanofHeart: the black background really sets
your avatar off well. Try it and see.
I'm using Ninja, but I'm not too much for the colors.
Instead of reds and white, I'd rather see blues and teal.
Easy to see, easy to read.

I switched over to Ninja. It's all right, but I agree with Papadoc. Blues and teals would look nicer.

Default 1024. Classic looks better, but I like the wider screen.

NSDN, but I'm considering going back to Default - 1024 (the black is starting to annoy me...
Default, because i really don't care.

Well today i've gone for a simple black **** t-shirt and trusty worn-effect blue jeans combination.

Default is the nicest. Used classic until yesterday but changed my mind.

I'm running Default-1024, I don't know why, it's like staring at a light bulb for hours on end. It is like most Web sites, though, but a black-and-gray template would be REALLY nice (many of my post-to-HTML conversions are this scheme but are too controversial to post... Sawg, is the complete forums tree map allowable for public display? Just curious... PM me if you want to know how I found it - NOT by hacking, FYI)... Anyway :D
So, yeah, is there a grayscale-on-black template to download server-side or something? I think that'd be great... or just an inverted Default? :D
The reminds me... I could just flip the invert-image switch in PowerStrip and it'll invert the colors on my screen! How 1337!

as a temporary solution, try reducing your monitor resolution, or turning a light on in the room ;)

I like to sit in a dark rooms, it makes me feel more secure for some reason, thats why i use Ninja or NSDN.:)

I use NSDN, easy on my eyes and not too bright when I'm sitting in my dark room, it made me half blind everytime I opened the GD in my browser when it had the light back ground

here was me thinking that blue was a cool colour ;) - damn art classes!
my work uniform is all black (i work in a rock/metal club, y'see), but i've never really cared for the "all-black, look how alternative i am" sort of black obsession.
hundreds of identical-looking kids decked out in the same baggy trousers and slipknot/nirvana t-shirts and hoodies do not strike me as "cool" or "alternative".
also, my sig image will look REALLY gash on black backgrounds due to my unnatural love of transparency...

"When you only wear black, everything matches"
True about the little pricks in band hoodies. They used to hang around in packs outside Safeway - Chris would ride his motorbike at them and they'd scarper :blah:
