Hi everyone:
I think Rant TV is so COOL. :-)
Anyways, I would LOVE it if the new playlist thingie would work with NSV Live Capture. But guess what. NSVCAP DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ITS THERE!!!
More in the new Sticky Christopher posted earlier this month.
Cheers for now :-)

I'd be careful if I were the SaltWaterChimp guy. I mean, considering he's playing all Family Guy all the time, and is not just offering it to the public but asking for donations... that's just beggin' for trouble.
Whenever I stream copyrighted material, I keep it private, mans. Keeps it legal. And real. And down. And funky. And...uh, anyway.
Not sure if I like Rant TV or not.

Okay, trying something new here. A small command line scrip thingy that rips the information from Winamp 2.91. Not all streams are Winamp3 compatible. I am hoping to have this be a nightly generated list that automatically updates on my website. Which should be fully up when I get back to college with the easy web space access. Anyways for now I'll see about just keeping this post updated.

Hi everyone:
Just curious....Don't you think that simply adding a VIDEO genre to the SHOUTcast directory would be less work for you Sawg? I mean sooner or later, trying to maintain such a database yourself will become overwhelming and more trouble than it's worth, don't ya think??
Besides, the genre addition is gonna have to be done sooner or later anyways...
Just a thought. :-)
Cheers for now everyone :-)

Hi everyone:
Must be *nice* to go around town in a minivan doing stupid things with a bunch of friends and a camcorder. I envy those of you who do because MY method of transportation would be more "public". :-)
Cheers for now :-)

It's coming one day, just not now apparently. I assume it will be when it NSV gets closer to 1.0 (or SHOUTcast gets closer to 3.0).
The first post was done by hand. The second one was a somewhat of a script. I hope to have it automated soon enough. :D

I need to stop working on this today before I go insane. Once I get an idea in my head I just don't let go :D

The listing/media library needs, needs, needs clustering (like audio shoutcast listings), we already have four mirrors for RantTV and are soon getting more. Our first mirror is getting loaded heavy while the other ones stand idle. :-(
The media library doesn't list the other mirrors even though the logs say that they're being updated in the listing.

Having a VIDEO genre NOW as opposed to later when SHOUTcast 3 is rolled out will give viewers a place to go to find video streams OF ALL KINDS. Once they're listed in the video genre, if a station wants to be listed in any of the current radio genres, that's up to them.
Besides, as more and more people get more and more video streams online, the list is just gonna grow and grow and grow and well....you get the idea. :)
Just my opinion :)
Cheers for now :)
