Well? What music just reminds you of good times, good memories, people you love/loved, what just makes you feel like life is still worth living?

hehe, being an 80's child, the music from that era brings back a lot memories for me. still like a majority of songs from then.

Old Judy Collins and Dan Fogelberg songs, from the early 70's.
These two artists really set the mood for some great nights for me.
Whenever I pull out the vinyl and throw it on the old turntable,
it brings those days and nights back.

just heard it today on the radio (collage undergound music radio), its called "King Missile - Detachable Penis"
Its really good, and really funny.
but well the arm and fuzzy music, I dont like it. Well not really, more into deep stuff like Tool.

but no way in the same way as a song about a detachable penis that gets losts!
Tool is too deep and meaningful to make me warm and fuzzy...
I like the Ska/Punk for that and random odd shit on this collage radio station, its all great. GOD THIS SONG KICKS ASS!

Stereolab - Blips, Drips and Strips. It's a track that'll lift me off the floor, fill the room with sunlight, massage my back (tell me how fucking cool I am) and shroud me in invincibility. It's more than just music.

That's true for me too, as much as i disagree with the message of the 80's, the tunes hit close to home.

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" brings back memories too.

Lots of songs by Paul van Dyk and BT, especially Flaming June by BT. I love that song.

Suzy-Q by CCR. My uncle used to sing it to me when I was little. Every time I hear it now, it makes me cry. That song came on the radio on a request and dedication show one night, requested by someone named Michael. Maybe I am reading into it too much, but that afternoon, I had gone to the cemetery and put flowers on my uncle's grave...his name was Michael. ::putters off to bed weeping::

A sad tale missinformation! But that's the beauty of music, it can bring memories to the fore.

The music that me and my girlfriend both like, such as Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, and old vocal jazz on Blue Note.
