Does anyone know when they will release support for other codecs in the nsv files? Ive been experimenting a lot lately and id'love to use the XVid while streaming, but it seems winmap/nsvplayx will only do vp3 for now? (they DO show the codec name, but they dont play the content)

I tried several codecs, divx, xvid and even indeo. They all
work (made a small test-player for them), and most are far better
/easier to use than the vp3 one (which for some odd reason wont
compress to the rates it promises)

I pushed it to 10 fps/20kbps (kBits)/s for the video while using XVid,
something vp3 will never be able to i guess (unless ya drop all the frames lol).

anyway, if ya know tell me please :)

you need to make a decoder plugin using the SDK to place in the player.

okies,
will try to find out how on earth those plugins work,
for now me just gonna play with a testing-component
(can already stream them in xvid/divx etc now, just no player that supports it yet :/
