Well, this was a supposedly secret side-project of a band that have already been mentioned recently in this thread, albeit as a wrong guess (by your good self, Cylob).

Said band started out as a punk outfit in circa 1977, but had a change of direction by 1979, taking a more new wave / alt pop-rock approach, and had a string of catchy hits (79 - 83 ish), still going afaik...

They recorded a couple of albums in the mid to late 80's under this more "psychedelic" guise...

You've got some trax in your playlist by them under their more popular name, but not any by this alter-ego.

Their most famous piece, 'Perpetuum Mobile', has been used for a few tv adverts.
Hewlett Packard, Knorr Herb Cubes, and a couple of car adverts.
Infact, most of their music seems to get used for adverts or film soundtracks...

You've probably never heard of these (which is sad) but they're another of my all-time fave bands.

Formed around 1979, still going...

Genre: Electronica / Dub
Styles: Downtempo, Ambient Dub, Dub, World Fusion
