Does anyone out there know the best codec which i can download which will give me the best 24k sound?

if I remember correctly most people have recommended the Radium codec for that. dont have a url on me at the moment, but just google it. you should be able to find it.

Sadly at the moment it's windowsmedia 9. Which will all change once Shoutcast3 comes out!!! Yea

For MP3 your best bet would be Fraunhofer (i.e. Radium).
MP3Pro does work with SHOUTcast as does HE AAC which might be your best bet but it would require listeners to download a specific decoder to listen to your stream just as MP3Pro does.
