Winamp5

Anyone catch the winamp5 leak? It comes packaged with milkdrop as an option when you install.

Well that is good news. But there are still bugs in MD 1.04 MV's etc, :( Violent Relexation doesn't work anymore as decay calculations have changed and noooooo they will be using the wrong version of the presets too.

ANyway plenty of time to fix that no doubt Winamp 5 is a long way off.

Anyway that should get the punters coming here anyway. :);)

As far as I can tell, its the same as winamp2 just with winamp3 skin support. and lots of bugs. lots of bugs. Seems fairly fast though.

As a guess I would say it is nothing special just the same v1.04 but it MilkDrop option was on as defualt. Obviously I have never seen it. :)

Let have no more talk about WA5 now thank you it is in early stages.

Yes it is exactly like Winamp 2x, but you can't exactly say it has bugs becuz it is Winamp 2x still, basicly.
If there is some bugs, they would only be in the plugin that allows Freeform skins, or the plugin that allows CD ripping.
Take those out, which is very simple, and you'd have Winamp 2x, exactly like it has always been, basicly.
So how can there be bugs???
I have used many different versions of Winamp, also Winamp 2.90, 2.91, 2.92 and 2.95, and I find Winamp5 to be pretty much exactly the same as those Winamp 2.9x versions.
Anyways... Winamp5 is awsome. As far as I can tell, it is ready to be released as a FINAL, as is.
