Audio Extraction

Does anyone know where i can download a shareware to extract mp3 out of a video file.

i tried this one but when opening the mpg file it comes up with pack problems

Winamp can do it, and save to WAV, decresces the degredation compaired to MP3 or other "lossy" formats.

Top left winamp main window, click
down to preferences, click
go to "Output" , click
Click on the "Nulsoft disk writer."
edit the setings
Press play.

Well i managed to extract one mp3, however winamp now freezes about 80 % of the way through extracting audio from a mpeg file. the only logical reason i can see is that when the mpeg file is more than 3 min it hangs .

It could be a problem with the CROSSFADE option; disable it & try again.

Probably not since once you have Diskwriter activated as the output plugin the Directsound plugin will be inactive.

Oh, alright... I thought he used Winamp3, 'cause this is a common bug that occurs while using the Diskwriter component for WA3.
