The title's self-explanitory; Tell us what guitar solos you like to crank the volume up to... :D

Metallica - Enter Sandman
Sum 41 - Master Of Puppets (Did a cover on the solo for their part on the MTV Icon for Metallica)
AC/DC - Highway To Hell
Rush - Working Man
Ozzy Osbourne - Mr. Crowley
Days Of The New - Touch, Peel and Stand
Hot Action Cop - Goin' Down On It (Although short, it's still nice to see a new band play at least 1 solo in their songs :) )
Anything Tom Morello does (He just sounds different and awsome, sorta like a DJ on a guitar... :D Too bad a Digitech Whammy Pedel would cost an arm and a leg in money terms just to attempt to be like him... :( )

That's all I can think of for me off the top of my head...

ya, basicly any Rage Against the Machine one.
Some Tool one sare truly amazing.
But other then that, I am more of a electronica guy myself, and not too much guitar solos.

Eddie Van Halen's masterpiece on the Twister soundtrack, can't remember the title at the moment. The whole track is just Eddie jamming away. I'll come back laters with the exact title.

Van Halen - Eruption. One long, sweet, mind-bending solo. Eddie Van Halen is a true legend.

And of course, Slash's 24-bar effort in Guns n' Roses - November Rain. Such utter class.

Aha! Found it, Eddie and Alex Van Hanlen's "Respect the Wind". Good song.

Yes i agree with watadoo. Jimi Hendrix and Jimmie Page, I think are the best guitarists ever. I liked how Hendrix could play with his teeth, that was good.

I prefer a regular toothbrush. You can't really reach the molars with a guitar.

No, no, NO!
Jimi actually took his teeth out and played with them . . . a very little known fact! :weird:

remember that much of the time it was Dickie Betts playing in there too. Dickie wrote a ton of the AB band's songs, too.
You're absolutely right watadoo.
Dickie Betts solo on "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed"
was one of The Allman Brothers best ever.

There are several I enjoy from the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet- The interpretation of the "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" is one of my favorites. (So what, it's a straight guitar trio)
